ONLY GOD WILL REMOVE ME FROM POWER

President Mugabe (R) greets his suppoters on his arrival at White City Stadium in Bulawayo, on June 20, 2007. President Mugabe said people should not reverse what was brought by the gun with a pen and that "only God" could remove him from office, in comments ahead of June 27 tense run-off election.

BULAWAY0 - President Robert Mugabe yesterday said only God would remove him from power.

He vowed yet again that he will never hand power over to the opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) even if he loses the second round presidential next Friday.
Speaking at a meeting with leading members of Bulawayo’s business community in Zimbabwe’s second largest city Friday morning, Mugabe cited Romans Chapter 13 in the Bible to make his point that he was appointed President by God and only God would remove him from office.

“The MDC will never be allowed to rule this country,” Mugabe thundered before businessmen attending the meeting held in the Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel. “Never, ever will that happen in my lifetime. Only God who appointed me will remove me from power and not the MDC and the British.
“Even Romans 13 says leaders are appointed by God. I am an image of God who appointed me to my current position.”

Zimbabwe killing started '5 April'...

A Zimbabwean intelligence officer pinpoints torture camps and says the death toll is much higher than thought.

Tonight, an active serving officer in Mugabe's intelligence service tells Channel 4 News that Mugabe's officers are unleashing a campaign of terror and murder.

Human Rights Watch says it has documented 36 political killings in Zimbabwe since April. The opposition party, the MDC says 67. However the intelligence officer told Channel 4 News that the true death toll is far higher.

He has told the programme:

"I know 21 people from one camp only. But you can multiply from the camps around Harare and then you can put an average of people who died, because the number of people who died at one camp doesn't differ from other camps.

Because there is competition among the leaders to have the highest number in their camps."

He then put the number of dead at, at least one hundred in just one province alone.

This officer still works in Zimbabwe's intelligence services. He can't be identified for his own safety but using a map he has revealed to Channel 4 News the location of a network of camps across Zimbabwe.

He has told us that, "They started interrogating and killing people on April 5th. That's when they started setting up camps.... "

Our intelligence source has also told Channel 4 News that Mugabe did rig the first round in this election. First by sitting on the results for several weeks; and secondly by changing the figures in 21 constituencies:

"The intelligence agencies came in and changed all the figures on the polling stations in those 21 constituencies. They changed all the figures..."

This inside man has told us that the current killing will continue until the election run off so that people will not vote: "Right now the killing is going on, until the election day."

He continued: "They beat them, interrogate them... so that in the next election people are not going to vote."

Of his own role, he has told Channel 4 News that that his underlings are under orders to torture and kill.

"Personally I say to them to use plastic, to burn plastic and put it on their backs. What else? To put them in handcuffs. And with iron bars - to beat them the whole night. (And) to put them in water."

And

"They are forced to say Zanu PF slogans."

Zimbabwe: wife of Harare's MDC mayor killed.

The body of the wife of Harare's mayor has been discovered hours after she was abducted with her four-year-old son in the latest raid targeting Zimbabwe's senior opposition figures.

Abigail Chiroto, 27, was kidnapped yesterday by armed men who then petrol bombed the house she shared with her husband, Emmanuel Chiroto, the recently elected mayor of Harare and a member of the opposition Movement for Democratic Change. The cause of death was not immediately revealed.

The discovery of her blindfolded body close to the couple's house north of Harare came as South Africa's president, Thabo Mbeki, arrived today for previously unannounced talks with President Robert Mugabe.

"I knew when I heard that a woman's body had been found that it was her," Mr Chiroto, 43, told The Telegraph today.

The couple's four-year-old son, Ashley, was released unharmed late last night.

"My son keeps on saying to me, 'Daddy, go and get mummy from the forest, go and get her and bring her home'," Mr Chiroto said.

"I have not told him his mummy is dead."

Information emerging of violent rampages in Harare by Zanu PF youth militia:

I have just received a phone call from a colleague saying that there is “full-scale terror” going on in Harare right now. Apparently Zanu PF Youth Militia squads are going door to door, sending people onto the streets and burning houses.

“It’s complete mayhem” the person who said.

This is currently happening in Kutsaga, an area close to Harare Airport. Apparently the people affected are simply fleeing the violence.

In a separate communication we received an sms saying, “Trouble in Kuwadzana as ZPF thugs go door to door beating up people. Spread the news”.

The number drawn into the violence is impossible to ascertain at this stage.

We have been told that the areas affected (that we know of so far) are Kutsaga, Kuwadzana, Mbare and Chitungwiza.

There is some anxiety that observers are not seeing the violence. There is talk that observers are being forced to attend “orientation” seminars in the mornings and told they cannot leave their hotels after 5pm.

The discovery was made eight days before an election run-off between the president, Robert Mugabe, and the MDC leader, Morgan Tsvangirai.

Opposition spokesman Nqobizitha Mlilo said militants linked to Mugabe's party were seen in the area before the attack on the home of one of the dead activists.

Mugabe and his security officials have been accused of unleashing widespread violence to ensure victory at the polls.

Amnesty: 12 Bodies Found In Zimbabwe; Most Victims Tortured

JOHANNESBURG (AFP)--Twelve bodies were found in various parts of Zimbabwe Thursday, and most victims appeared to have been "tortured to death by their abductors," Amnesty International said.

The allegation by the human rights group was made eight days before a run-off election pitting longtime President Robert Mugabe against opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai.

"Amnesty International today revealed that 12 bodies have been found in various areas of Zimbabwe," it said in a statement. "Most of the victims appear to have been tortured to death by their abductors."

Mugabe thugs killed and mutilated MDC youth activists.

The murderous violence being driven by President Robert Mugabe’s militias reached new levels today with the killing and mutilation of four young men, the largest number of fatalities in a single incident in the last 10 weeks of Zimbabwe’s election campaign.

Three of the men were Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) youth activists, defending the home of a local official from attack by Zanu (PF) youths in the sprawling dormitory township of Chitungwiza about 30 km south of Harare.

The third was a passerby, abducted because he did not know the Zanu (PF) youths’ secret slogans and salutes used to identify supporters. All of the victims had their skulls smashed, said relatives who had seen the corpses in separate mortuaries. Some had their lips and genitals cut off.

The escalation of violence came as Gordon Brown called on Mr Mugabe to admit international rights observers and the UN rights envoy for the country’s run-off presidential election on June 27.

KADOMA ON FIRE AS I SPEAK.

The residents of Kadoma are being punished for staging a daring rescue operation to recover our fellow MDC cadre who was being held in Zanu PF offices.

David was being held hostage in Zanu PF offices which are next door to a police camp in the high density suburb of Rimuka. The police could not do anything as a result we had to mobilize ourselves and storm the Zanu PF offices.

This did not go well with Ishmael Mutema and Jimayi Muduvuri who are the Zanu PF big wigs in Kadoma so they have unleashed a reign of terror on the residents of Kadoma.

MUGABES LATEST CRAZE IN KILLING ZIMBABWEANS

State orchestrated terror in Zaka, Zimbabwe.

This man was lucky ....he is still alive.....
the photo's are from
Sokwanele

This is ''mugabe and the generals'' latest way of killing Zimbabweans that they feel have voted against them....

This is the result of African leaders,SADC and the AU keeping silent and allowing ''mugabe and the generals'' to do what they want.
They silence and lack of balls has killed and disfigured thousands of Zimbabweans in a very short space of time....
Here is the story of the latest victim.....

Robert Mugabe's militia burn opponent’s wife alive.

The men who pulled up in three white pickup trucks were looking for Patson Chipiro, head of the Zimbabwean opposition party in Mhondoro district. His wife, Dadirai, told them he was in Harare but would be back later in the day, and the men departed.

An hour later they were back. They grabbed Mrs Chipiro and chopped off one of her hands and both her feet. Then they threw her into her hut, locked the door and threw a petrol bomb through the window.

The killing last Friday – one of the most grotesque atrocities committed by Robert Mugabe’s regime since independence in 1980 – was carried out on a wave of worsening brutality before the run-off presidential elections in just over two weeks. It echoed the activities of Foday Sankoh, the rebel leader in the Sierra Leone civil war that ended in 2002, whose trade-mark was to chop off hands and feet.

Mrs Chipiro, 45, a former pre-school teacher, was the second wife of a junior official of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) burnt alive last Friday by Zanu (PF) militiamen. Pamela Pasvani, the 21-year-old pregnant wife of a local councillor in Harare, did not suffer mutilation but died later of her burns; his six-year-old son perished in the flames.

Yesterday about 70 local MDC supporters gathered in Mr Chipiro’s small yard in Mhondoro, 90 miles south of Harare, to protect him. Inside the hut where his wife of 29 years died, women sang softly to a subdued drum beat next to the cheap wooden coffin. The thatched roof had been destroyed in the fire so they sat under the open sky. The lid could not be closed because Mrs Chipiro’s outstretched arm had burnt rigid. Her charred hand was found as women swept the hut.

Mr Chipiro, 51, a small, determined man, arrived from Harare on Friday afternoon to find his three brick huts ablaze. “I was trying to put the fire out,” he said. “I thought my wife was hiding in the bushes.”

His four-year-old nephew, Admire, heard him calling her. “He ran to me. He said, ‘Auntie has been beaten and they threw her in the fire’.”

Bright Matonga, the Deputy Information Minister and the MP for the area, lives just over a mile away. There is also a Zanu (PF) youth militia camp near by. Mr Matonga routinely blames the violence – in which nearly 70 people have died and 25,000 have been left homeless since the elections on March 29 – on Britain and the United States. He claims that they pay the MDC to put on Zanu party regalia and attack Mr Mugabe’s opponents.

When Mr Chipiro went to the police, they refused to give him an official crime incident report. They fetched the body at about 10pm, he said. A post-mortem examination was carried out at St Michael’s Catholic mission hospital. At first police gave Mr Chipiro a report that left out the causes of death. An officer intervened and produced an authentic report.

The report said that seven men assaulted Mrs Chipiro “before dragging her in one of the houses and set all three houses on fire”. It said that the body showed “signs of assault since all hands and legs were broken”. The doctor who carried out the post-mortem described the cause of death as haemorrhaging and severe burns. “These youths are taught cruelty,” Mr Chipiro said. “They get used to murdering. They enjoy murdering. They are doing it for money.”

He said that thugs returned for him two nights ago but fled when they saw his supporters. “I am very frightened,” he said. “They want to kill me. But I have no alternative. My presence here as a leader is very important. If I leave, everyone else will leave. I intend to fight the battle, from here.”

THANK YOU TO EACH OF YOU AFRICAN LEADERS,SADC AND THE AU FOR YOUR SILENCE AND REFUSAL TO DEAL WITH ''MUGABE AND THE GENERALS''.EACH DEATH OR BEATING THAT IS CONDUCTED BY ZANU PF THUGS IS ON YOUR HEADS.

''mugabe'' In Rome....

While the people in Zimbabwe are being beaten and killed ''mugabe'' and his wife are having a nice little holiday in Rome at the expense of the UN..

Grace of course had to go along to go and do some much needed shopping and a few pics were taken of her and an unidentified woman coming out of some shoe shop......

Found this on the net and what a brilliant idea this would be....

Hey all you out there in Europe got any connections with some high up cops or even a couple of Mafia Boss's well then ''whisper'' in their ear about arresting ''mugabe'' and sending him to the Netherlands......NOW IS THE TIME.......

Arrest him.

There are two excellent reasons why Robert Mugabe, Zimbabwe's ex-president, should not be at the UN world food conference in Rome, and one excellent reason why he should be arrested while there for arraignment before the international criminal court. The fact that he is nevertheless there, and the fact that he has not so far been arrested on criminal charges, speaks the worst shame to that pusillanimous and feeble creature, "the international community".

The two reasons why he should not be in Rome are these. First, he has several times over been voted out of office by the people he has bullied, starved and impoverished, but continues to rule through the gun and truncheon as, in effect, a coup leader. He has no legitimate standing to attend the Rome conference therefore; the fig leaf of waiting for a rerun of a presidential election he has already lost, in the hope that his thugs can arrange another "win" next time, cannot possibly persuade anyone else at the Rome conference that he has a right to be there.

Secondly, as someone who has turned a flourishing net exporter of foodstuffs into a starvation zone, he is one of the last people on earth who should be allowed into a five-star Roman hotel with his wife and an entourage. What an irony it is that someone who is so unimpeachably and starkly an example of a food-crisis engendering problem should dare to show his face at a conference seeking solutions.

And yet his presence there offers one possibility of a small contribution to one part of a solution: arrest him, arraign him for human rights crimes, lock him up in the Netherlands while trial pends, and while he defends his glowing record of humane administration of justice, internal peace, and economic progress, poor struggling Zimbabwe might be able to find its feet again.

At least our own government has complained about his presence in Rome, and has been blunt in doing so. But words are not enough. Here is the wretched dictator within reach of international law: nab him and put him on trial; it would be the cleanest, quickest, simplest way to give Zimbabwe real help.

THE FUNERAL OF MDC MASHONALAND EAST TREASURER

SHEPHERD JANI.

MDC leader Shepherd Jani murdered, mutilated body dumped in Goromonzi.

The Centre for Community Development in Zimbabwe (CCDZ) is shocked at the callous murder of yet another community leader Shepherd Jani, who was abducted at his offices at Murewa Centre on Wednesday morning by suspected Central Intelligence Organization (CIO) operatives.

The Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) treasurer for Mashonaland East province was abducted at gunpoint and bundled into a pick-up truck by four men.Reports received by the CCDZ indicate that Jani's mutilated body was discovered yesterday (24 May) in Goromonzi, the same area where the body of Tonderai Ndira, another civic activist who was abducted by CIOs was discovered before it was taken to Parirenyatwa hospital in Harare.

We are in great pain because to us Jani was more than a community leader whom we relied upon to run our programmes in Murewa and the entire Mashonaland East province. The leadership of CCDZ is shell shocked by this barbaric act and urges the government to investigate the murder of Jani and other civic activists who have been murdered since the 29 March elections.

Jani showed and demonstrated ethical leadership and was committed to positively impact the lives of ordinary citizens. We urge immediate investigation and the prosecution of the criminal gangs that are targetting prominent community leaders to instil fear in the whole electorate. The attacks against the civic leaders are systematic and targetting opinion leaders within communities to instil fear in the electorate and make it difficult for people to identify with the MDC.

CCDZ urges the Southern African Development Community (SADC) leadership to take a firm stand on the political impasse in Zimbabwe. We urge SADC to set up a Regional Criminal Tribunal to investigate the ongoing human rights abuses and bring the instigators to justice.

We urge the International Criminal Court (ICC) to open investigations and issue warrant of arrests against the known politicians in Zimbabwe who are instigating human rights abuses. The people of Zimbabwe are being butchered for exercising their democratic right to political participation.

We mourn Jani and grief with the entire Jani family in Murewa. We say go well! Hamba kahle! You are our hero! The tree of liberty that you decided to water with your blood shall forever grow.

How many more people will ''mugabe and his killing machine'' kill, torture and beat because they dared to vote for freedom.

All of this because ''mugabe and the generals'' will not give up power.

Their propaganda speeches that they are going around spewing out on the people is that MDC is funded by the British and they are trying to take Zimbabwe back for the White man and that the Black farmers that are trying to farm against all odds will be thrown off the land by the White farmers. This of course puts the fear of God into the Black farmers as they will once again be losing their land to the Whites along with the threats of being beaten and killed the people are now just awash with fear of every thing and every one....

So this re-run or run off elections are just a huge farce and excuse to spill more Zimbabweans blood because zanu pf and ''mugabe and the generals'' ain't going to step down....
