JDE Tester

Our client in financial services industry has initiated a project to do a technical upgrade of their JDE ERP system from version 8.12 to 9.2.  The client uses multiple modules of JDE i.e. Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Fixed assets for financial processes.  They also use Requisition Self Service, Procurement and Sales Order management.



Key Roles / Duties

Identify, develop and execute test scenarios, test cases and test packs in order to identify any changes, errors and/or issues cause by the upgrade of JDE.


Essential Academic Qualifications

3 year degree/diploma in IT, Business Systems or Finance stream

Any Testing qualification


Essential Skills and Experience

2-3 years’ experience in testing Oracle JD Edwards ERP systems (Financials)
Identify and develop test cases and scenarios from use cases and/or requirements specifications
Prepare test cases and liaise with business and test analyst regarding errors, issues and risks
Executes test scripts, including scheduling, monitoring and troubleshooting
Interprets and communicates results.


Desired Skills and Experience

Testing Oracle JD Edwards ERP modules (Requisition Self Service, Procurement and Sales Order management)

Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail
Experience using test tools HP Quality Center etc.
