In 2010 their stands were costing US$1500 n we paid ths amount in 2 instalments n they prmsd 2 show us a our piece of land on the 1st saturday of septembr 2010. Of wc they failed n instead told us 2 pay a top up fee of abt US$320 so tht they cn shift us in2 anthr project of theirs wc ws a beat expensive. “Monalisa Chinomona a young vibrant 19year old girl was found brutally murdered on the 24th April 2012 in her bedroom (in her parents house) in Chitungwiza. The alleged suspect is her boyfriend Pritchard Naison Zimondi aged 24. He was caught in town barely 3 hours after he committed the crime. he was caught in town after a tip off from one guy (Simbarashe Piyano ) Do not mention his name as this guy is a witness )who tipped off police at Civil court after Zimondi hinted that he wanted to leave the country and he also requested for some cash from Piyano. He was then arrested after this tip off. Despite the fact that some officers who arrested him said hye confessed to them that he had killed his girlfriend. Upon being arrested he was found in possession of the house keys for (chinomona residence) and a pant and bra belonging to the deceased He was grated bail sometime in July last year by Justice Musakwa reason being that the evidence was still shacky and investigations were still underway. He was the inducted in custody as the date of the trial had been set for 20 Novemebr before Justice Musakwa. On the 20th November 2012 the trial did not kick start as the jusge said he was going to Kariba for a workshop. It was postponed to 3 February 2013. The accused Pritchard Zimondi thru his lawyer Norman Mugiya the applied for bail and it was heard by Justive Musakwa (the one who gave him bail in 2012) who refused to give him bail and he noted that" eveidence agains Pritchard was now overwhelming and he is most likely to be convicted for pre meditated murder. On the 3rd February, the case was postponed again by Justice Chatukuta because she had another matter scheduled in her court. The matter was finaly allocated to Justice Mwayera on 3 June 2013. The trial commenced on the 4th June because on the 3rd Mugiya (Pritchards lawyer said he was sick). The first witness (piyano) testified againstr the accused then followed by Mona's brother who is the one that discovered Monalis's body lying in a pool of blood. Monalisa's mother, also identified the keys which were found in possession of the accused and the judge also accepted them as an exhibit. Monalisa's sister also positively identified the panty & bra and they were accepted as an exhibit as well. The arresting officer also testifed and told the caught that the accused had confessed to killing m\onalisa. Out of 11 witnesses only 5 have testified. And from the five it seems that the evidence is already linki to the accused.
It is believed that the accused might be related to the Paradzai Zimondi and Perence Shiri hence these delays and all. We want Justice for this innocent gal who had a promising life. It has not been easy for the deceased's family as they cannot get closure until the accused is sentenced. The trial was set to continue today but Justice Mwayera advised that she is tied uyp ion the bail courts for the rest of this month July. The Airforce of Zimbabwe's two of the three helicopters, President Robert Mugabe used to use for election campaigns are grounded at Manyame Airbase. I was at the Manyame Airbase this whole afternoon after we have been asked to check the progress done in servicing them after 5 days of waiting. The repairing was supposed to have been completed before the launch of the manifesto at the Zimbabwe Grounds but up to present, Aircraft engineers are failing to make them fly. Squadron Mudenge is suspected to be sabotaging the repairing of these planes that the President has missed his scheduled rally he was supposed to address today in Gokwe. The military intelligence team has been asked to give a report immediately to the President's office about who is sabotaging and Squadron Mudenge's name is flying around. If he is not careful, he is the one who will be flown kwamupfiganebwe as it seems that the President wont be able to go to any rallies this week. There are contigent measures being put in place to reschedule his rallies around areas near Harare in Chinhoyi, Bindura, Marondera and Chivhu that will be beamed live by the ZBC to make the message reach many people. There are also technical problems on the helicopters which intelligence reports point that these helicopters might crash when the President is inside. Chegore rino.
